Missing Signature in Outgoing Emails? Here’s What You Need to Know!

Have you noticed that your email signature isn’t appearing in Step 2 or Step 3 of your sequence?

Written by Fabian Matthies

Have you noticed that your email signature isn’t appearing in Step 2 or Step 3 of your sequence? Don't worry! This isn't a system bug. It’s actually a deliberate feature designed to make your communication feel more authentic.

Why Is This Happening? (Standard Behavior)

To make your outreach emails look as natural as possible, honeysales adds your signature only to the first step (Step 1) of a sequence by default.

The Advantage: In a real-life email conversation, you usually don't include a massive signature block with every quick reply. By avoiding constant repetition, your follow-ups feel less like a bulk newsletter and more like a personal, one-on-one message.

The Solution: Manually Enabling Your Signature

If you still want your signature to appear in every step, you can easily set this up yourself:

  1. Select Sequence: Go to "Outreach Hub" and select the corresponding campaign.

  2. Edit Step: Click on the specific step (e.g., Step 2) where the signature is missing.

  3. Activate the Pencil Icon: Look for the Pencil icon—the signature will only be sent if this is activated for that specific step.

  4. Save: Click on Save. From now on, your signature will be included in this step.

Best Practice Tip 💡

For professional and successful communication, we recommend:

  • Step 1: Use a full signature to make a serious and credible first impression.

  • Follow-ups: Intentionally skip the large signature block here. A simple "Best regards, [Your Name]" often feels more personal and increases your chance of getting a reply.
